This policy explains how the New Generation Foundation collects and uses personal data through the Vox Medicea website, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The data controller is the New Generation Foundation, Florence, Italy. Vox Medicea is a project of the Foundation.

Data we collect

Contact formName, email address and the content of your message.

NewsletterEmail address and the date of your subscription.

ApplicationsPersonal details, voice type, biography and recordings submitted for the Florence Choral Course or the Coro di Santo Spirito.

How we use it

We use your data to answer enquiries, send the newsletter you subscribed to, assess applications to our education programmes and keep the website secure and working.

The legal bases are your consent (newsletter, optional cookies), the steps needed before or under an agreement with you (applications) and our legitimate interest (enquiries, site security). You can withdraw consent at any time.

Sharing

We share data only with providers that help us run the website, deliver email and manage applications, under agreements that oblige them to protect it. Tickets are sold by the venues and their ticketing partners, whose own policies apply. We do not sell personal data.

Retention

Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Application materials are kept for the duration of the selection and for up to 12 months afterwards, unless you join the programme.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its use, and receive it in a portable format. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
